DRAYTON RIDGE KEEPS BUSY THROUGHOUT THE FALL/WINTER

Our Drayton Ridge Builders are very busy throughout the fall and a number of new homes start underway ahead of the winter weather coming to Drayton. Our excavation of the Bedell Drive extension is well underway laying storm sewage down Bedell Drive extension. The stormwater piping is 7 meters below ground level due to the sharp topography.

FOLLOWING THE TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON APPROVAL TO PERMIT OUR EXTENSION OF BEDELL DRIVE, WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ADVISE WE PLAN TO PROCEED WITH THE BEDELL DRIVE EXTENSION IN LATE FALL OF 2020.


THE BEDELL DRIVE EXTENSION WILL LEAD THE WAY FOR THE RELEASE OF OUR BLOCK 91A 9 UNIT TOWNHOME, 7 GREAT NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOME LOTS AND OUR FIRST EVER 12 SEMI HOME LOTS. BASED ON CURRENT PLANS THE NEW BUILDING LOTS WILL BE AVAILABLE LATE 2020 OR EARLY 2021.

IN ADDITION THE BEDELL DRIVE EXTENSION WILL PERMIT ACCESS TO OUR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED AGRIHOOD PROJECT, MUCH OF THE LAND PREPARATION FOR AGRIHOOD IS ALREADY UNDERWAY.

Prior Group Donate 5 Acres of Land to the Municipality

Township of Mapleton – Mayor Davidson, is pleased to announce the donation of Park Land from Mr. Fred Prior the developer of Drayton Ridge, Agri-Hood Neighborhood Community.

Mapleton, GDC / Drayton RIDGE/ Agri-hood Neighborhood Community are partnering together in developing a special and unique future home experience in Drayton, Ontario. The vision, country living in the village of Drayton Ridge’s Agri-hood community is moving ahead in a very tangible way.

Drayton Ridge Developer/Owner Mr. Fred Prior announced recently his company is donating a 5 plus acre parcel of land on the Agri-Hood site to the Township of Mapleton for a new park.

The land is located on the Drayton Ridge property overlooking the beautiful Conestogo River and the village of Drayton. The lands donated will be used to best suit the needs of the community and compliment the Agri-hood design.

Fred Prior stated, “We are excited to now have the opportunity to move our Drayton Ridge development forward after a number of years awaiting the release of waste water sewage capacity.”Mr. Prior thanked Township of Mapleton, CAO Manny Baron, Mayor Gregg Davidson and Council for their efforts and dedicated work to enabling Drayton Ridge to move forward with the development.

Drayton ridge development will include single family homes, town homes, condos and a golf teaching academy as part of the exciting Agri-hood neighborhood.

At the ground breaking event June 20, 2019 Mayor Gregg Davidson stated “The Township of Mapleton is truly grateful for the donation of over 5 acres of land by the Prior Group. This land will be utilized to create a recreational space that meets the needs of our growing community. We look forward to welcoming new residents and the development of the Agri-Hood in Mapleton”

This new capacity will permit Drayton Ridge to proceed with the immediate sale of our eight fully serviced Ridgeview Drive river view lots. Drayton Ridge has commenced with the infrastructure of a new street Carriage Crossing. At the November 28th Mapleton Township council meeting Zoning By-law ZBA 2018 was passed. With the passing of this By-law, Drayton Ridge will move ahead with our Conceptual " Agrihood Development".
